Zamacueca
Also called zamba cueca
Nineteenth-century Pacific couple-dance in sesquialtera: guitar, sung coplas, handkerchief figures, named in Lima and Chilean ports. Empty extra Received is historically checked. Waltz leftover as a later salon meter, not a parent. Andean folk leftover as a refused catch-all. It gives Cueca the Chilean national recoding, Marinera the Peruvian patriotic rename, and Zamba the Argentine inland recoding.
