Crust punk
Also called crust, crustcore
Kind of Hardcore punk
Mid-1980s British hardcore: d-beat drums, anarcho lyric, and a filthy metal-tinged guitar (Amebix, Hellbastard; Discharge as mediator). It is a style of Hardcore punk. Anarcho-punk supplies the squat-politics job. Motörhead leftover as an artist metal tinge, not a parent node. D-beat leftover as a drum-pattern tag. It gives Grindcore the blast-adjacent miniature and Post-metal the Neurosis-hinge long form.
