Ceremonial song of the Suyá (Kisêdjê) of the Xingu. Akía is men’s individual shout-song — often several different songs at once, a named heterophony (Seeger). Ngére is the unison group type. This file is the akía job, with ngére as the neighboring village song, not a leftover “Amazon music” bin. It hears Kayapó ceremonial by documented song-capture from Gê neighbors, not by treating all Amazon song as one. Wauja kawoká leftover as a sibling Xingu flute job, not this vocal hop. Andean leftover as a refused parent. Europe leftover as a refused parent.
